If you're heading back to work from a vacation or if you're heading back to work because you just scored a new job, I'm going to give you a few tips to stay strong in the fashion world as well as the career world.

TIPS:

1. If you're going to be running around the office all day, wear a cute pair of flats. You don't have to abuse your feet by wearing six-inch heels everyday. Heels however can make us feel empowered, but for some it makes them feel like they could land on their face at any second. So, if you're up for heels, wear them. If you would rather not, grab a few pairs of cute flats.

2. Don't overdo your jewelry or makeup. You want to look professional and put together, not like you need a professional that needs to get you together. Sadly, Stacy and Clinton can't send everybody to their crew, or trust me, I would be there in a heartbeat.

3. Perfumes can make you or break you. A few good ones are:

Those are my tips as well as making time for yourself. Whether you take an hour to go to the gym, read a book, or garden can make a world of difference when you're working everyday. Sure having nice dress clothes and perfume is nice but taking an hour to do what you want is even better.

If you've been feeling a little rock and roll lately, this look would be amazing! From the distressed skinny jeans to the sexy booties you will look rock and roll from head to toe. If you decide to go with a look like this with your makeup make sure you wear a light foundation, a heavy red lip, and dark black winged eyeliner. It's what I would call sheek rock & roll. Ha ha ha.

Hope you all are enjoying your new year! Maybe things have been wonderful, maybe things have not been so great. Know that either way I pray that all of your hearts are fulfilled and all of your dreams come true. When the going gets tough go grab some ice cream and read my blog, ha ha just kidding. When the going gets tough, remember what ou're fighting for, whether it be your dreams, your babies, or even your life. Think of all the wonderful times you've had and know that wonderful times will come again.
